Procurement Coordinator - Construction

Walbridge is seeking a dynamic Procurement Coordinator to execute subcontractor, supplier and commodity sourcing strategies for local, regional, and national initiatives for both office and jobsite based project services and ensure contracting and sourcing standards are maintained throughout the portfolio.

• Provides responsive, high quality service to Walbridge employees, representatives of subcontractors and suppliers by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information, in a courteous, efficient and timely manner.
• Update and maintain Vendor Management System and Building Connected data bases to ensure compliance with Walbridge Sourcing requirements, to include any and all necessary contract documentation requirements.
• Assist in market research. Identify potential sources by socio-economic indicators (i.e.: minority businesses, women owned businesses, small businesses, small and disadvantaged businesses, large businesses, HubZone businesses, etc.), and other agency contracts.  Prepare market surveys and document results of market research.  Support estimating in preparation of small business capability analysis. 
• Support Estimating and Operations teams
• Read specifications and drawings and perform takeoffs for pricing
• Assist in securing bids/proposals as required
• Communicate and develop relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist Operations as required in support of project coordination and project engineering requirements
• Assist Contract Administration in obtaining all required clearances necessary for subcontract / purchase order award
• Coordinates specifications, plans and proposal forms and other documentation necessary to support procurement efforts on Corporate EPR sites.

• Bachelor's Degree in fields of supply chain management, engineering or strategic sourcing (Purchasing); or equivalent professional training and experience with high school diploma.
• Excellent Inter-personal skills, Organization skills, Strong Analytical Ability
• Ability to interface with the senior leadership team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict time-lines.
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written
• Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments
• Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications - Very strong in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
