The Opportunity

Carlson Design Group is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Architect to join our Design Team and be a part of our expanding business. We see the design process as a collaboration among our Architects, Engineers, Client’s Stakeholders and expanded project teams.

You can be based at our office in Peachtree Corners, GA or Detroit, MI

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute: With minimal supervision, plans and develops medium to large-scope projects with many complexities, executes and coordinates projects, and may oversee a large staff of architects and technicians.
  • Major Project Responsibility: Plans and develops architectural projects concerning unique and/or challenging complexities that significantly impact major company program.
  • Novel Concepts and Methods: Involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel concepts and methods.

Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree. 
  • Active registered Architect.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience with Office Building, R&D, Industrial or Mission Critical sectors.
  • Core competencies include:

    • Coordinating Project Activities
    • Managing Resources
    • Communicating Effectively
    • Driving Projects to Completion
