    Act as internal technical consultant for electrical and / or mechanical discipline to insure all related construction activities are performed in accordance with accepted professional (and company) practices and standards.




    • Utilizes a broad scope of industry knowledge in the planning, design, and operation of communications networks, central offices and last mile connectivity.  
    • Is knowledgeable in the operation, construction, maintenance, and security requirements as they relate to data. 
    • Can act independently under general direction, using excellent written and verbal communications to brief senior leadership and customer representatives on project status.  
    • Efficiently integrates technical and management teams to ensure efforts satisfy both corporate and client goals.  


    • 4 year engineering degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.         
    • Minimum of 8 years extensive experience related to electrical / mechanical discipline. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of discipline construction technology, equipment, materials, methods, etc., required. 
    • Proficiency in problem solving and written/verbal communications skills essential. Computer literate in a wide variety of applications including web based project management systems.
    • Proficient in the monitoring of sub-contractor performance and effectiveness in the completion of service contracts and progress payments.
    • Skilled in reviewing documentation to provide recommendations, proposals, schedules, and change orders associated with projects in progress.
