Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in establishing, updating, monitoring and analyzing multi-project budget and cost control reports (including budgets, funding sources, subcontract commitments, change orders, contingencies, allowances, general conditions, forecasts, risk analysis, etc.)
  • Generate over/under variance reports with supporting analysis
  • Actively participate in change management and forecasting processes
  • Oversee identification of risks and opportunities
  • Oversee adherence to corporate cost control policies and procedures
  • Lead and generate multi-project financial gross margin reports
  • Perform analytical reviews, validations and audits to support internal and external cost control requirements.
  • Prepare and process Owner AIA Invoices, subcontractor pay requests and associated backup documents (i.e., sworn statements, lien waivers, etc.)
  • Initiate and participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Proactively apply problem solving techniques in supporting team requirements
  • Effectively collaborate with colleagues and project team members
  • Supervise and provide oversight to one or more cost analyst support staff, where required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Construction Management (preferred), accounting or related degree preferred.  High School Diploma and equivalent training and professional experience required
  • Must have 3 plus years of relevant experience
  • Must be a self-starter, accurate, possess good communication skills;
  • Must be flexible and capable of multitasking
  • Versed in construction contract document language and project specifications, preferred
  • Proficiency with construction accounting software; CMiC and Textura software is also preferred
  • Willing to travel ~ 20 %
